Okay, so now Amitabh Bachchan is believed to have opted out of Ram Gopal Varma's cop saga, Department. Not surprisingly, this development comes a day after the filmmaker replaced Abhishek Bachchan with Rana Daggubati, who's on a high after the release of Dum Maaro Dum.
According to Sher Lock Holmes, Ramu is said to have apprised Big B of the situation. Matlab? Meaning that he had conveyed to him about sonny boy's casual attitude towards the movie... by not showing the required interest in listening to his role characterisation et al.
And if that's not enough, the filmmaker is also said to have conveyed to Amitji that he might have to replace Abhishek due to his unavailability. However, the senior actor assured the director that he'd discuss it with junior and revert to Ramu, so I'm informed.
