Eva, 36, is so excited by the arrival of the 37-year-old's first daughter that she and friend and celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves are going all out.
They are hosting a special private party on May 6 at LA's Beverly Wilshire hotel, with an impressive guestlist lined up - including model Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Heidi Klum, Katie Holmes, Rachel Zoe, January Jones and Kate Beckinsale.
A source told, "The baby shower was all Eva's idea, she sort of rail-roaded Victoria into it."
"Eva and Ken are going totally over the top and camping it up. As well as having baby-pink cupcakes and marshmallow towers, pink bubbly will be stored in a huge, ice-filled pram."
"The plan is for a mini-tea party during which everyone will hand over their gifts. You can expect a lot of Tiffany merchandise and designer babygros."
"Afterwards, a few select friends will go to Eva's Hollywood restaurant, Beso, for dinner -Victoria's a bit gutted because she will not be able to drink."
