No horror for Junior Bachchan

After Bluffmaster’s ‘Right here, right now’, Abhishek Bachchan has donned singer cap again for Dum Maaro Dum. His ‘Thayn Thayn’ is currently wooing the charts. More important than his singing venture, however, is his stance as socially responsible citizen on the silver screen. With the track, he hopes to pass the message 'Say no to drugs'. We caught the star to talk about his personal life and more…

We are family!
Family has always been my first concern, while work comes second. We all belong to the same field, but we never discuss work at home—especially at the dining table. Since my childhood, my mom has banned such conversations.

Now, we rarely get any time to spend with each other. So, it's like a family vacation whenever we are all together in the house. And that means a big sit-down meal.

Wife

Ah! After five years of marriage, what else you want to know about us? It’s the same old love story. Each day, every relationship grows more, and love goes on increasing. We understand each other and our work commitments.

Favorites
Films have always been close to me, as both my parents belong to the same field. I love my films and take each of them very seriously. I have no favorites. You will never hear me saying that I have high expectations from a particular film. All films are a part of me, and I have high expectations from each one of them. It's very easy for others to say ‘Kya bakwas film hai!’. But to make that ‘bakwas’ film, we would have put in a lot of effort and energy. So, every film is close to me. I only choose scripts that I like.

Film buff
I am a complete film buff. I enjoy all genres of cinema. I have worked in diverse range of films, except horror. I don't like horror, and I don't think I will ever try acting in a pure horror flick. I find them scary and gruesome. I don't remember seeing a single horror film, nor would I like to act in one. I can manage thrillers, murder mysteries and suspense, but horror isn't my cup of tea.
