Sharman Joshi had a rather unexpected surprise in store for him when he was on the way to Horniman Circle for the shoot of his new film, Ferrari Ki Sawaari, on Thursday morning. My birdy from Bandra tells me that when he had reached Churchgate, he got a call from an AD, saying that the shoot had been cancelled.
Imagine his predicament! My khabru says that Sharman was all gung-ho about the day's scenes, so the cancellation of the shoot upset him initially. More so because it was his birthday and he didn't expect it to begin on such a sad note. However, he consoled himself when the assistant requested him to come to Taj Mahal hotel instead.
The actor was in for a bigger surprise when he learnt that the Ferrari team had planned a lunch party for his janamdin. After a couple of hours of chit-chat over khaana-peena, the team left and the birthday boy too headed home, to spend the day with his family. Chalo, badhiya hai. After all, such is life dearies.
