Keen to do performance-oriented roles, she is playing the lead role in a movie titled Oru Nadigayin Vaakkumoolam, where she will essay the role of an actress. As the title suggests the story revolves around the ups and downs in an actress’ life.
Directed by Raj Krishna, the movie is produced by Kesavan who has done several films including Suriya’s Mounam Pesiyadhe.
The movie is based on a series of articles on the lives of actresses that appeared in a vernacular weekly. I approached Sonia and she was appreciative and even suggested a few changes.'
