Hunt on for fresh female lead in Dhoom 3

After casting Esha Deol and Aishwarya Rai as female leads in Dhoom and Dhoom 2, Yash Raj Films (YRF) is now on the lookout for a fresh face to play the female lead in the third instalment of the popular franchise.

Producer Aditya Chopra and director Vijay Krishna Acharya are keen to cast a totally new face to play the female lead in the movie, said a press statement from YRF.


Dhoom 3 will see Aamir Khan taking over the role of the villain from John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan, who played the role in the first two instalments.

Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their iconic roles of inspector Jai Dixit and his assistant Ali respectively.

The music for the Dhoom 3 will be composed by Pritam Chakraborty. The movie will reportedly go on floors towards the end of 2011, and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release worldwide.
