Ashish Golwalkar, head of non-fiction programming of Zee TV, released a press statement saying, "They are fairly young and can mix easily with kids. Adnan has composed and sung some of the best tracks in the last decade. Javed has worked in Bollywood and given some chartbusters like 'Nagada', 'Ranjha ranjha', 'Jashn-e-bahara', while Kailash is emotional about his music."
The channel is trying to work out a unique feature for the upcoming season, wherein original compositions prepared by the mentors will be rendered by the child participants. Though, Golwalakar admits that nothing is concrete as of now.
TV actor Jay Soni, who plays the character of ‘Ishaan’ in Star Plus’s Sasural Genda Phool, along with child actors Afsha Musani and Dhairya Sonecha will host the show for this season.
