House that! Imran's moving to Delhi

 Looks like Imran Khan is taking inspiration from his perfectionist mamu, Aamir Khan. To give Delhi Belly a first-of-its-kind promotional push, he is shifting house to India's capital. He has already rented an apartment and will stay there with his Man Friday till the film opens.

And unlike other stars who delegate these chores to their staff, Imran has apparently taken up the entire initiative to locate the apartment and get it organised on his own.

Apparently, he feels since his film is titled Delhi Belly, he should've been staying in the city from the beginning.

Confirms Imran, "Yes, I wanted to shift to Delhi for a couple of reasons. First, of course, our film - about youngsters of the city - is based in Delhi. And I really wanted to be there when the film opens. And the second reason is personal because I like Delhi's vibe. I would love to stay there for a while."

Imran's novel marketing plan isn't surprising, since producer- uncle Aamir has pretty much given him a free hand to publicise Delhi Belly as he sees fit. "We work very closely. Aamir, our public relations team and I all sit together to brainstorm for ideas. And once we get a proper notion, it's in my hands to be executed," he says.

Interestingly, Imran has taken up a house in the vicinity of the famous girl's college in south Delhi, Lady Sriram College. The Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na boy will be staying in the pad with minimum facilities for his comfort. This is the first time that Imran will be in Delhi for more than a fortnight.

Imran insists that he's fine with living on his own. He has studied in a school where he had to do his own cooking and cleaning. Plus, the young actor has spent time alone while studying in the US too. And apparently, he has developed love for north India, especially Delhi, since few of his films have been shot in the region.
