London, June 9 : Pop superstar Lady GaGa's new album 'Born This Way' has been approved for entry into Lebanon after the Middle East state relented on the ban following an outcry among her fans.
Lebanese authorities had banned the album claiming that the track Judas was "offensive to Christians".
Its intelligence agency, the General Security Directorate, had seized a shipment of the album, and it was also banned from being broadcast on the radio.
But the government gave in after GaGa fans in the state protested, saying that the move was pointless as they could already stream the album on the internet.
“The CD has received approval for entry and distribution in Lebanon,” the Sun quoted a statement as saying.
