I was just about to go for my bubble bath when a mail dropped into my kaaliberry inbox. Turns out to be my parinda from Andheri's Lokhandwala Complex, eager to tell me about Vinay Pathak's support for the cause of saving our forests.
He deplores the government's plan of replacing forests in central and eastern India with "ugly barren coal mines, thus displacing millions of people and wildlife dependent on their natural environment."
Vinay feels that forests should not be cut for the coal underneath for power when there are other resources available for the same. So he's endorsing Greenpeace to promote their new campaign, Fools For Forests. Chalo, badhiya hai. After all, such is life dearies.
