Troubled star Lindsay Lohan, who turns 25 on Saturday, received an early birthday gift in the form of her release from the 35-day long confinement at home.
The Mean girls star was under house arrest at her pad in Venice, California after she pleaded no contest in a necklace theft case.
"She completed her home detention today and she's now back under the supervision of the courts and probation," said Los Angeles sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
"Lohan was eligible for house arrest and was released early because she's a non-violent offender," Whitmore said.
The actress will resume her 300 hours of community work at a women's shelter and 120 hours of community service at the coroner's office.
