Salman’s fascination for South Indian Films

There is something about Salman Khan and his love for the kind of films produced down south.
Post the success of his film ‘Wanted’ that had film play an undercover cop, Salman is on a high with his new found success. ‘Wanted’ was a remake of Telugu film ‘Pokiri’ that had Ayesha Takia and Prakash Raj play pivotal roles. Post that a series of south Indian remakes followed with Salman signing ‘Ready’, ‘Body Guard’ and ‘Kick’.

While ‘Ready’ and ‘Kick’ are Telugu remakes, ‘Bodyguard’ is a Malayalam one. Salman has been loved by everyone in ‘Ready’ and ‘Wanted’ and  now going by the flow he is soon to sign another remake of Tamil film. Salman has really liked the script of Tamil film ‘Kanchana’ and is going to star in its remake. Let’s wait and watch for the official announcement.
