Shankar and Suriya come together

Will the awesome twosome of Tamil cinema would come together? Buzz is that Suriya, the Man with a  Midas Touch and director Shankar, the man of many hits, may come together by this year-end.

Sources say the two might venture to do a movie soon. That would be grand and glitzy, quite typical of Shankar's movies.

The actor was supposed to work with Shankar in Nanban but that did not work out. Suriya is currently shooting for 7Am Arivu followed by a movie with directors K V Anand and Hari. Meanwhile Shankar is shooting for Nanban starring Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva. It is a remake of Three Idiots.
