Suspense is finally over. Malayalam heartthrob Prithviraj tied the knot with a Mumbai-based BBC journalist, Supriya Menon in a low profile ceremony in Palakkad on April 25, 2011.
The function was held in Thenkurissi Heritage Villa, in Palakkad—Prithvi’s home town. Around 50 people including Prithvi’s actor-brother Indrajith and his wife attended the nuptials.
Prithviraj has acted in many well-known Malayalam films like Swapnakoodu, Classmatesand Thirakatha. He also starred in the Tamil version of Raavan. It was during the promotions of Raavan that Supriya went to interview Prithviraj. The two fell in love and decided to get married.
Although the wedding ceremony was a low key affair attended only by close family and friends, the actor is planning to throw a lavish reception for industry and media friends. According to reports, he has already booked a five star banquet hall, Le Meridian, in Ernakulam.
